This creamy, chocolatey treat contains just four ingredients and you can spread it onto toast, spoon it into porridge, or bake it into pastries or brownies. This combines roasted hazelnuts, melted dairy-free chocolate, vanilla essence and a little salt to create a delicious dairy-free version of Nutella. Buying roasted hazelnuts means that they’re ready to blend right away, and you don’t have to faff around toasting them beforehand
This makes; 350g Cook time; Ten minutes

You’ll need;
- 300g roasted hazelnuts
- 50g dairy-free chocolate, melted
- One quarter of a teaspoon of salt
- Half a teaspoon of vanilla essence
Method;
- Start by placing the hazelnuts into a high speed blender and pulse blend until the nuts begin to resemble a flour
- Next, add in the melted chocolate, salt and vanilla essence. Continue blending until the mixture is completely smooth
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge

Melting the chocolate;
You can melt the chocolate in a bowl over a saucepan of warm water, but I find it more convenient to use a microwave. Just break the chocolate into small pieces and place it into a microwave safe bowl. Then microwave at half power for a few seconds before stirring. If you can’t alter the power level, then microwave for ten second intervals and stir the chocolate after each ten seconds. This way you can quickly melt the chocolate without overheating it
