Banana & Vanilla Vegan Milkshake

Frozen bananas work brilliantly as a base for milkshake, they add a great flavour and richness. You can use your favourite dairy free milk, I went with Alpro light soya milk. The straws that I used are paper, not plastic

Yield; 5 servings Prep time; 5 minutes

You’ll need;

  1. Four bananas, peeled chopped and frozen
  2. Dairy free milk
  3. 3 scoops of dairy free vanilla ice cream
  4. 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract


  • Add the banana into a one litre glass jug. Pour over the milk, enough to fill the jug almost to the top. Add the ice cream and vanilla extract, then blend with a stick blender until completely smooth
  • Serve topped with a scoop of ice cream and shaved chocolate
