These tasty, chewy, no-bake granola bars are easy to make, and only require four ingredients. They’re like a chocolate cornflake cake, crossed with a rice krispie treat. They’re great for a lunch time treat or afternoon snack
Yield; Eight bars Cook time; 30 minutes total
You’ll need;
- 100g dairy free butter/spread
- 100g marshmallows
- 100g dairy free chocolate
- 180g granola
Method;
- Start by melting the butter/spread in a frying pan over a medium heat, I used Stork which is available from most supermarkets
- Next add in the marshmallows, allow them to melt stirring every now and then. Once the marshmallows have melted, add in the chocolate. Once the mixture is fully melted and combined, add in the granola and give it a good mix
- Grease a dish with a little more butter/spread then spoon the mixture into the dish. Pop it into the fridge for a minimum of one hour
- Once it’s set it’s ready to slice and serve. I sliced it into eight bars
I find they’re best kept refrigerated, but can be frozen to keep them for longer. Just pop them in an airtight container and store them in the fridge or freezer
