Warm melted cheese flavoured with festive cranberry. Grab some veggies, crackers or bread and get dipping. The great thing about this dip being in a small loaf of bread, means you can eat the bowl after the dip is gone
You’ll need;
- One small (400g/14oz) loaf of bread
- 200g/7oz dairy free cheese
- Three tablespoons of dairy free cream cheese
- 100ml unsweetened plant milk
- Three tablespoons of cranberry sauce, or use more for a stronger cranberry flavour
- A good pinch of salt and black pepper
Method;
- Carefully cut out the middle of the loaf of bread with a bread knife. Being careful not to pierce the bottom of the loaf. Scoop out the bread inside to make room for the cheese mixture
- Into a large mixing bowl, add the milk, cream cheese, cheese and season with a good pinch of salt and black pepper. Give it a really good mix until it’s fully combined. Next add the cranberry sauce, gently fold it through the cheese mixture
- Spoon the mixture into the hollowed out bread. Then place the bread onto a baking tray
- Bake in the oven at 220°C/200°C fan assisted/400°F for 25 minutes, or until melted and golden on top. Leave it to stand for about five minutes before serving
I sliced the bread I removed and baked it for 15 minutes. I put the bread on the baking tray when I put the cheese in the oven to bake, and removed it after 15 minutes
